PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS

ACU’s online B.S. in Education Studies with Teacher Certification combines interdisciplinary coursework with hands-on training through The Texas Institute for Teacher Education, a TEA-approved educator prep program, to prepare you for the certification exam. This program covers areas that are key to the development of students, including psychology and communication. With a flexible, fully online format, you develop the leadership, classroom management, and instructional skills you need to succeed in diverse educational settings.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

To be considered for admission, students must:

• Submit official high school and/or college transcripts with a minumum 2.5 GPA.
• Complete the online program application accompanied by a non-refundable processing fee.

Students are not required to submit ACT or SAT test scores.

Graduation Requirements: Students must earn a 2.5 GPA or higher to meet graduation requirements and complete at least 33 advanced hours. 

Note: Admission to this degree does not constitute admission to a Texas Educator Preparation Program (EPP). Students interested in pursuing teacher certification may apply separately through an approved external EPP.
