As our society becomes more global and connections between cultures grow, many Christian leaders have a desire to expand their knowledge and reach for global Christian service.


ACU’s online Master of Arts in Global Service is designed to equip you for ministries that require living, working and communicating in intercultural contexts typical of today's global society. Drawing upon theology, sociology, anthropology, history and communication theory, the M.A. in Global Service challenges you to analyze contemporary global concerns, formulate Christian perspectives and explore solutions to intercultural challenges.

  • Online with Residency 


Admissions Requirements

  • Application and $50 fee
  • An official transcript of all previous colleges attended
  • A cumulative undergraduate GPA of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
  • Two letters of recommendation (may be submitted through the online application)
  • Personal statement of interest
  • Academic writing sample

Timeframe

  • 48 credit hours 
  • 2.5 years 


Scholarships available to all new students. 

Potential Outcomes

  • Graduates will integrate the biblical, historical, and theological perspectives foundational for contemporary Christian practice.
  • Graduates will demonstrate an understanding of the mission of God and their place within that mission as both individuals and members of the global Church.
  • Graduates will be able to live, work, and communicate appropriately in a variety of cultural contexts.
